By I’m ecstatic to be in rehearsals for Vic Melodys Ugly Chief at the New Wolsey, Ipswich. The show has a tiny cast, 4 out of 6 are musicians, and the range spans traditional funeral music, (organ for me) New Orleans style trad band (sax and trombone) and southern rock / soul (keys, vocals, guitar).
It’s a great unit and I am also enjoying showing off my multi-instrumentalist chops!
Thrilled to be playing tunes by Composer Tom Parkinson, with Kieran Rafferty (The Stand Comedy Club), James Gow (Kneehigh) and Steve Pretty (Hackney Colliery Band).
